Young Women’s Christian Association

The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) is a worldwide voluntary organization with a motto “By Love Serve One Another”.  Rooted in Christian Faith, and subscribing to the Basis, the YWCA  endeavours to promote the full development of women and girls, irrespective of race, culture and creed.It seeks to develop a membership that is responsive through service to the changing needs of the whole community in a changing world. 

The YWCA of Trivandrum was founded on 16th August 1917. It is situated at Spencer junction, Trivandrum, Kerala. YWCA provides hostel facilities to students, working women and senior women. It also provides facilities for conducting conferences and seminars.

YWCA CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS

YWCA celebrated its centenary on 17th August 2017. What started as a prayer fellowship a century ago developed into a flourishing organization making its presence felt in the socioeconomic and religious environment of this capital city. The Centenary project touched the lives of hundred girls who were given financial aid to pursue their studies.
